These terms and conditions apply to situations where an applicant is referred to a Client by Siza-Buso Consulting within a 12-month period from the date of the referral for a permanent or contract position.
Fee Schedule
- Our fee is calculated at 15% of the candidate’s full gross annual package and is calculated on the total cost to the company (TCTC). Total cost to the company means the gross annual salary and all guaranteed bonuses (e.g., 13th cheque, living out allowance, etc) including all fixed costs and allowances and the company’s contribution to medical aid, pension, or provident fund, etc.
- Once the Applicant has accepted an offer by the Employer and commences employment, the Employer agrees to settle Siza–Buso Consulting’s invoice for that specific placement within 14 working days of the invoice.
- In cases where the salary is to be paid for a duration of less than 12 months, the fee will be determined on a prorata basis. When the candidate is employed on a part-time basis, the fee scale percentage will be calculated based on the annualized salary proportionate to the actual time worked.
Guarantees (Candidate Replacement)
- Should the employment of the candidate terminate, and the candidate’s final effective working day falls within ninety days from his/her commencement date, then Siza-Buso Consulting reserves the right to fill the same vacancy with a replacement candidate, within a period of thirty days of being notified of such termination. This stipulation is in place to protect Siza-Buso Consulting against the employer who may exercise the autonomy to recruit another candidate within this 30-day period, either through another agent, or through internal process, or through any other means, and then still request a refund from Siza-Buso Consulting. Under such circumstances, Siza-Buso Consulting obviously cannot then be held liable for a refund.
- In the event of a replacement candidate being successfully placed, Siza-Buso Consulting will re-invoice the client for the placement of the new candidate, based on the gross annual salary of the successful new candidate, and from that new invoice, we will deduct the amount paid from the invoice of the original candidate.
